Healthy Spaces has partnered with Gorman Recruiting to fill a position for a Business Development, Brand Ambassador in the Evansville, IN area. The Business Development, Brand Ambassador will be responsible for building market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships.  The ideal candidate is results oriented and has a successful background in sales.  A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation is required.

Specific responsibilities include:

  • Brand Ambassador – Be the Face of the Company by networking and building relationships within the Evansville and greater market.
  • Participate as a member of the Healthy Spaces Leadership Team.
  • Develop creative solutions by researching target industries and related events, publications, and announcements; tracking individual contributors and their accomplishments.
  • Discover and explore new opportunities by connecting with potential partners.
  • Analyze market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments.
  • Develop and implement new business strategies by studying complementary industries and businesses while evaluating potentials and assessing and managing risks.
  • Sales Responsibilities include:
    • Determines customer’s problem(s), needs and desired outcome(s) while in the customer’s home
    • Proposes solutions to resolve these problems and closes sales while visiting customer’s homes
    • Writes job proposals for each job including: diagrams, photographs, instructions, Basement/Crawlspace Vision proposal, the customer “Job Work Sheet,” accomplish list, pricing list and total price of the job


  • Knowledge of business principles and practices specifically; Closing Skills, Motivation for Sales, Prospecting Skills, Sales Planning, Selling to Customer Needs, Market Knowledge, Presentation Skills, Energy Level, Meeting Sales Goals, Professionalism
  • Knowledge of construction or foundation systems helpful.
  • Skill in operating personal computer and programs such as Microsoft Office, database management and other software well enough to perform PC presentations in customers’ homes.
  • Skill in reading, writing (legibly), and oral communication.
  • Ability to learn and understand the technicality of foundation, Basement and Crawlspace systems.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field
  • Two (2) years of experience in customer service; or an equivalent combination of education and experience to illustrate a proven track record in the business field. 

Base salary of $35,000 with incentive compensation and competitive benefits.
